The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) is organising a Trade and Investment Promotion Mission to Yangon, Myanmar from 15th to 19th March 2010. The delegation will be led by Tan Sri Dato’ Soong Siew Hoong, Executive Adviser of ACCCIM cum Chairman of International Trade and Industry Committee.
Members of KLSCCCI are welcomed to participate in this mission. The estimated cost for the trade mission is as below:

Participation Fee : Single Room RM3,100
Twin Sharing RM2,700
(Fee includes airfare, airport tax, hotel, coach, breakfast, and visa)
The objectives of the trade mission are to promote bilateral trade and investment, promote Joint Venture and Partnership with Myanmar entrepreneurs and also to establish networking with potential partners overseas.
Myanmar will fully implement the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement in year 2015, with more than 90% products scheduled to be of 0%-5% tariff. Trade environment will be very challenging with greater market access in the region. It is imperative that entrepreneurs be prepared from now onwards by establishing strong network with overseas trading partners.
Eligible companies are entitled to claim 50% of their expenses for participating in the trade mission under Market Development Grant (MDG) from MATRADE.
